Glenn Kaufhold has been a successful nonprofit leader for 30 years, bringing to his work a unique blend of experiences in development, communications, marketing, administration, and organizational governance. He created GKollaborative in 2010 to provide strategic advising to a host of organizations, particularly those in transition or start-ups. He is also the co-founder and co-author of the FundraisingWonks blog.
Before starting GKollaborative, Glenn was Executive and CEO of the Miami Dade College Foundation, and Assistant Vice President for Corporate and Foundation Relations at Florida International University. Other organizations he served in leadership roles include the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Fenway Health (Boston), and The Medical Foundation (Boston).
While running GKollaborative, Glenn also served as Senior Associate Dean and COO of the City University of New York School of Law.
Throughout his career, Glenn involved in the start-up of for a number of new initiatives. These include the Sorensen Center for International Peace and Justice (CUNY School of Law); the Court Square Law Project, a partnership between the CUNY School of Law and the New York City Bar Association, and the Miami Culinary Institute at Miami Dade College. His very first start-up venture was the successful Special Athletes/Special Smiles oral health initiative, created in partnership with Boston University and Special Olympics International.
Glenn holds a BA in English from Montclair State University. He has presented at conferences around the country for groups such as the Association of Fundraising Professionals; CASE; Philanthropy Miami; City University of New York, and CenterLink.
