Lora is an experienced relationship builder, business development professional and strategist. As President and Chair of the Board of the We Are All Music Foundation (WAAM), Lora presided over the evolution and growth of a startup nonprofit. Under Lora’s leadership, WAAM distributed close to $350,000 in grants to 10 world class music nonprofits. Lora fostered the creation of a dedicated music research group, attracted senior talent to the organization and cultivated multiple significant donor partnerships.

Prior to entering the nonprofit realm, Lora built a successful career as a senior business development professional in asset management, raising significant capital for several prominent investment firms including Cheyne Capital, Kingdon Capital Management and Pareto Partners. Lora worked closely with public pension funds, corporate entities, family offices, large endowments and global foundations. Lora received the Marketer of the Year Award for her work with Endowments and Foundations. She also served on the board of the professional development organization Association for Investment Management and Sales Executives.

Lora received her B.A. from Boston University in Spanish Language and Literature. She has done graduate level coursework in Psychology and engages in continuing education related to nonprofit management.
